Travel Vaccinations and advice

Due to an increase in workload we are no longer able to offer travel assessments at the practice.  We also no longer offer Yellow Fever vaccination.

Patients seeking advice on travel health and travel vaccinations should visit the NHS Fit for Travel website in the first instance.

Patients requiring vaccinations can then contact any of the following local providers of travel vaccinations:

  • RIDU Travel Clinic, Western General Hospital, Ward 41 OPD, Western General Hospital
    0131 537 2823
  • Barnton Pharmacy, 195 Whitehouse Road
    0131 339 3449
  • Masta Travel Clinic, 5 Quality Street
    0131 336 303

Some countries require proof of vaccination (for example, for polio or yellow fever vaccination), which must be documented on an International Certificate of Vaccination or Prophylaxis (ICVP) before you enter or when you leave a country.
